Orange Cake

I just feel so drained from sickness going around that I feel the need for a fruity recipe of sorts.
Here is one for Orange cake, noted in the margin is Leota- whether that is a name of a friend, or a magazine, I can't really say!

1 Scant Cup white sugar
 1/4 to 1 1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1 orange rind, and juice
1/2 cup water
2 tsp baking powder and a pinch of soda
2 Cups Flour
Bake in Layers

that's it. The entire sum of the instructions. If anyone tries it I'd like to know how it turns out. It's way to hot in here to be doing any baking right now that's just for fun.Maybe I'll file this into my "Things to try in the fall " category!
