Lemon Pie
Juice and grated rind of 1 lemon, two eggs, 8 heaping tablespoons of sugar, 1 teacup milk, 1 teaspoon cornstarch. Mix the cornstarch with a little milk, put the rest on the stove when boiling stir in the starch, Boil 1 min. Let it cool, then add the yolks of the eggs, four tablespoons of sugar, rind and juice of lemon.Beat it together, Line plate with pastry and fill. Bake slowly 1/2 an hour Whites and sugar whipped for the top and brown.
